SGT University has established a dedicated Centre for Environmental Sustainability, functioning under the umbrella of the Research and Development Cell and aligned with the university’s commitment to sustainable development and climate resilience.
The centre is staffed with full-time researchers and experts in environmental science, climate change, and sustainability. It actively contributes to the university's academic programs by integrating sustainability topics into both undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
Outcomes Delivered:
- 20+ SDG-aligned publications in SCOPUS/WoS
- 2 waste-to-energy patents filed
- 1,500+ students trained in climate literacy
- Rural outreach on water harvesting and low-carbon practices with NSS/NCC
